GTM Engineering: Vision

The shared playbook for GTM engineering.

GTM engineering is being invented right now. Clay, outbound agents, scoring systems, AEO. There is no canon and no Lenny of this space. Whoever writes the body of knowledge owns the category. That's us.

What we are

A curated room of the best practitioners, and the canonical body of knowledge they produce. Anyone serious can come here and get genuinely good at any part of GTME.

The filter

Everything here involves building something. Scoring agents in, sales team management out. Lenny owns general growth, and growth people who build will find their way to us, so we niche down and stay there.

The flywheel

The room produces alpha. We capture it in the weekly roundup and the wiki. We publish it publicly with members credited by name. That content attracts the next tier of great people, and the room gets better.

The roundup and wiki are the distribution engine. Members share what they're cited in, and they post better alpha because the roundup is a status game.

The four pieces

  1. The room. Slack, invite only, top people per topic. Quality bar never drops.
  2. The wiki. Playbooks per topic: scoring, enrichment, AEO, outbound agents, attribution. Each one built by interviewing the best member on that topic, with their name on it. Run by Cole and Juliette.
  3. The roundup. Weekly. Best alpha from the Slack, published inside and outside.
  4. Discussions. Podcast and events, once the roundup proves people want the content.

Sequence

Roundup first, this week. Wiki second, fed by roundups and interviews. Podcast and events last. Don't launch four things at once.
